VICTORIA, BC (November 17, 2004) – RG Properties today made its first announcement of a major concert to be presented in the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Sarah McLachlan is scheduled to perform on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 and tickets for the concert will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday morning, November 22.

Sarah McLachlan returns to British Columbia to continue her Afterglow tour that began in the summer of 2004. She is set to release Afterglow Live, a live CD/DVD that chronicles McLachlan’s 2004 summer tour, which kicked off July 5 in Seattle and ended on September 10 in her hometown of Vancouver. This was the first time McLachlan has been on the road since the hugely successful and influential 1999 Lillith Tour.

The availability of a venue in Victoria that meets the technical needs and provides the audience capacity required of large shows is good news for promoters, and for Victoria area audiences. “This announcement is the first in what is shaping up to be great concert line-up for the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre” said Ken Noakes, Director of Sales and Marketing for SOFMC. “We’re well into our marketing activities for the new venue and have been talking with concert promoters and event organizers throughout North America. People can look forward to many more announcements in the months ahead.“

Tickets for Sarah McLachlan Afterglow Live will be available at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 22. Tickets (including taxes and convenience charges) are $61.50 with a limit of 8 tickets per person. A Select Your Tickets convenience fee will apply.

• ˝ hour before on-sale, numbers will be handed out to all individuals waiting to purchase tickets.
• 5 minutes before on-sale a number will be drawn. That is where the line-up will begin.
• Numbers preceding the number drawn will line up sequentially.
• Any patrons arriving after the draw will line up after the last ticket handed out.
