One of the most enduring, beloved and innovative rock bands in music history, the Moody Blues’ legacy spans the late ’60s to the present, from its 1967 debut Days of Future Passed to its most recent release, a double CD greatest hits package, Gold. The group’s forward-thinking mix of orchestral pop and progressive rock has established them as one of the most influential bands of all time, while annual sold-out tours have made Justin Hayward, John Lodge, and Graeme Edge one of the top-grossing album and touring bands in existence. Rock fans of all ages and tastes will recognize the timeless melodies and grand symphonic gestures of classic songs like “Tuesday Afternoon”, “Nights in White Satin” (one of the biggest selling singles in history!), “Ride My See Saw”, “Legend of a Mind”, “Voices in the Sky”, “The Voice”, “Gemini Dream”, and more.

Over the course of their career, the Moody Blues have generated #1, Top 5, Top 10, Top 20 and Top 40 hits in three different decades, along with multi-platinum, platinum, and gold albums. The band has sold over 55 million albums worldwide. Numerous awards, including the NARM Number One World Group Award in 1972, the Playboy Vocal Group of the Year, the Ivor Novello statue, and many more have come their way. But the most cosmic kudo of all came in 1993, when the band was presented with an historical cassette of their albums Days of Future Passed and Seventh Sojourn. One of the space shuttle astronauts had carried the tape with him on all four of his space missions.

The band has also appeared in The Simpsons and, in 2001, recorded two songs for the IMAX film Journey Into Amazing Caves. In 2006, the group’s historic first five recordings were re-released in deluxe editions.
